Welcome to the WeRoLab! We research control, actuation, and perception principles for lower-limb wearable robots, such as robotic prostheses and exoskeletons. Our interdisciplinary group applies biomechanics and mechatronics with a research focus on tractable real-time optimization. Our purpose is to improve the quality of life for people and contribute to being a force of good.

The mission of the Wearable Robotics Laboratory is to enable ambulation, rehabilitation, performance augmentation, and a healthy lifestyle through robotic technology.
